Pino Pascali – Roma 1968 (2021) is a publication curated by Ragazzi di Strada unearthing, for the first time in its entirety, a previously unpublished 32 images photographic series documenting the Italian artist Pino Pascali in his studio in Rome in 1968, just a few months ahead of his premature death.

The project was first conceived for the open call Futuro Arcaico, dedicated to celebrating the artistic heritage and folklore of Puglia. Pascali’s bond with his motherland was in fact highlighted by the acetate cover of the publication, quoting the artist’s 32mq di mare circa, a reference to the influence of the Pugliese landscape in his work.

Part of the photographs have also been selected by Fondazione Prada to be included in the catalogue published on the occasion of Pino Pascali (2024), their retrospective dedicated to the Italian artist.
